The Events-Horizon Code of Conduct
John is a member of a number of industry bodies, including the Editorial Photographers of the United Kingdom (EPUK), Black Photo-Journalism Forum, Metropolitan (London) Black Police Association, as well as theEvent Photographers Society(EPS), SWPP, and BPPA and ION Events-Horizon follows their numerous codes of conduct.
We take our professional conduct very seriously.
Our team of photographers are in a position of trust and as a result have a responsibility to behave in an ethical and professional manner at all times.
All of our photographers and ancillary staff adhere to a strict code of conduct, as follows,
Photographers will…
1. Only attend events in an official capacity when invited to do so by the organiser(s)
2. Behave appropriately and professionally at all times
3. Not have unsupervised access to young people
4. Undertake the appropriate enhanced Criminal Records Bureau or Metropolitan Police checks
5. Be easily identified by wearing the appropriate company ID at all times
6. Take photographs in keeping with the event we are attending
