The Events-Horizon Code of Conduct
John is a member of a number of industry bodies, including the Editorial Photographers of the United Kingdom (EPUK), Black Photo-Journalism Forum, Metropolitan (London) Black Police Association, as well as the Event Photographers Society (EPS), SWPP, and BPPA and ION Events-Horizon follows their numerous codes of conduct.
We take our professional conduct very seriously.
Our team of photographers are in a position of trust and as a result have a responsibility to behave in an ethical and professional manner at all times.
All of our photographers and ancillary staff adhere to a strict code of conduct, as follows,
Photographers will…
- Only attend events in an official capacity when invited to do so by the organiser(s)
- Behave appropriately and professionally at all times
- Not have unsupervised access to young people
- Undertake the appropriate enhanced Criminal Records Bureau or Metropolitan Police checks
- Be easily identified by wearing the appropriate company ID at all times
- Take photographs in keeping with the event we are attending
